B.H.S.

B.H.S

Verse: (E C# A B E ) Could this be real, could this be true, I ask myself if I’m in love with you, Couldn’t help myself, I’ve tried so hard, Wondering if there’ll be a start.

Is it me? Or is this just a dream? I ask myself is this what people call love, Couldn’t help myself or so it seems, I’m still wondering if there’ll be a start.

Chorus: (F#m Asus E A F#m Asus D A) I’m losing ground, I’m losing control, Over my heart, my body and soul, I’m losing myself, I’m losing hope, When the world stop spinning, My heart will stop burning.

Verse: (E C# A B E) Writing down my every emotion, Acting as my consolation, Feels like poetry in motion, Coming to my own realisation.

Chorus: (F#m Asus E A F#m Asus D A) I’m losing ground, I’m losing control, Over my heart, my body and soul, I’m losing myself, I’m losing hope, In this world, I don’t think I can cope, It’s plain to see if I’m crazy, Wondering what’s going on deep inside of me, I can’t stop thinking about you all the time, When the world stop spinning, My heart will stop burning.

Instrumental break: (E A E A)

Bridge: (F#sus G#sus G#?? G#??) If you care, If you dare, Could we be? Are we meant to be? Do you see me? Do you have me?

This is the closest song to a love song in this entire album. Actually, there is no problem in hearing this as a love song as the original poem by Edmund is about his feeling towards someone. But when I took over, I have based it more on the theme of “obsession”. This song also saw Julian Chan lending me his talent on saxophone. He recorded about 5 different tracks which we then mix and mash to the best sounding tune.
